DR. MILAN LOMBARDI
Dr. Milan Lombardi is a well-trained, double board certified dermatologist who specializes in cutaneous surgery, cosmetic and laser dermatology. He grew up in New York City but always desired to start a practice in a more intimate and close-knit environment where he could develop lifelong warm and trusting relationships with his patients. He is known for thinking outside the box when the current paradigm is not working, and enjoys maintaining insight into the most up-to-date, evidence-based care and state of the art technology in the rapidly growing field of dermatology.
Dr. Lombardi graduated with the highest awarded honors from Vassar College, where he pursued a degree in physics. He obtained his medical degree at Cornell University Medical College in New York City and completed his dermatology residency at the prestigious Washington University School of Medicine/Barnes-Jewish Consortium in St. Louis. In addition, he also received post-graduate training as a resident at Stanford University Hospital in anesthesiology, Learning perioperative and pain medicine techniques has significantly enhanced his understanding and capabilities in performing procedures with the patient’s comfort in mind.
Dr. Lombardi has an interest in dermatologic research and participated in the research realm of medical and physical science both before and after he became a physician.
He is a published author in scientific literature, has presented at national meetings, and has been the main presenter for award winning team research at international meetings. Before beginning his residency he served as a research fellow in the Department of Dermatology at Cornell University Medical College studying the immune system of the skin. He has also performed research at other leading institutions including Columbia University’s Department of Applied Physics, the NASA Johnson Space Center and the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Most patients tend to describe Dr. Lombardi as good humored and easy going but he likes to think of himself in a more focused manner.
My goal is to leave the world a better place than I found it and have some fun along the way. To the extent that I can do that through my patients, my research and interests, and my children I will have led a successful life.
